Classic Blackjack Gold is suitable for players of all levels and is played between the individual and the dealer. The aim is for the player to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a higher value hand (he or she cannot however exceed 21, or alternatively by the Dealer's hand going bust (that is having a value above 21). In Classic Blackjack Gold, you may only bet on one hand at a time and the game is played with one regular deck of 52 playing cards that are shuffled before the start of each game.
Play begins when you click on the ‘deal’ icon. The Deal button is only available to the player if he or she has placed at least one bet on the table.
In Classic Blackjack Gold you have the opportunity to take insurance. In order for you to utilize this feature, click the Take Insurance Yes button to place an Insurance side bet.
You may choose the chip denomination you want to bet with – take note that chips differ in value and you can choose from chips with a value of one dollar, five dollars, ten dollars or twenty-five dollars a piece.
Blackjack is the ultimate hand and occurs when your hand contains an Ace and a card with a value of ten. It is the most powerful hand in Blackjack, and automatically stands. Be aware that a hand of blackjack cannot be beaten, only matched in this case, by the dealer.
Beginner players must take cognizance of the fact that an Ace is a unique card because it is worth 2 values, i.e. one and eleven. The player bestows a value of one or eleven on the ace depending upon the constitution of his or her hand.
