The Labouchere Baccarat Betting System

The Labouchere Baccarat System is a clever 'loss cancellation' strategy that allows you to decide how much profit you want to win and how much risk you can afford - you then simply set up a Labouchere chain and start gaming.

The beauty of the Labouchere system is that although it has an obvious element of risk, it's considered safer than other systems because it has an in-built method of risk preparation.

To set up the betting system, you need to make a Labouchere chain - a simple series of numbers that represent your betting units. Your chain can be any length and contain any betting units - each bet you place is the sum of the first and last unit of the chain.
For example, if your chain was 1-3-4-5 with a unit size of £1, your first bet would be £6. If your bet wins, you cancel the outside numbers - which would leave you with a chain of 3-4. If your next bet wins, then you'd have a profit of £13 and you'd have completed a chain.
