The Rules of Vegas Downtown are virtually the same as any other Blackjack game. Vegas Downtown is played with two deck of cards. This of course will change the game completely, due to the odds of hitting certain cards being altered.
Other aspects of the game which differ from the original Blackjack game are; that if you split an ace, and then receive a 10, the value of your hand will not be Blackjack but 21, and so can obviously be beaten by a Blackjack. The dealer must also hit on soft 17, this means if the dealer has an ace and a 6 he must hit, this will give the player more chance of winning the hand as the dealer has a bigger chance to go bust.
