Finding out that *Smooth Criminal* is one of the top songs on Batman’s iPod is perhaps not that surprising. But once you start listening to it, you’ll realise it’s not actually the fact that it’s about crime, but it’s all about the beat. You can imagine that Batman would listen to this as he’s about to fly into the night to deal with some baddies. But Michael Jackson? It does beg the question: Bruce, are you OK?
Hopelessly Devoted To You – Olivia Newton-John
What on earth is this? It’s no secret that Batman has plenty of love interests, some of them broken off due to the fact that the ladies cannot deal with his duality (think Vicki Vale). But we can actually see Batman sitting at home with a bottle of wine, pressing play and singing along: “But now there’s no way to hide, since you pushed your love aside…” Even superheroes get the blues, after all.
Take On Me – a-ha
We can just see Batman driving out of the Batcave in his Batmobile listening to *Take on Me*, in true Corky Romano style. It‘s the perfect song to get you in the mood to fight crime, and you may just enjoy it – Batman certainly does.
