Top 3 Celeb Hotspots in Las Vegas
Hollywood may be where many
celebrities live and work but Las Vegas is where they come
out to play so you can expect to actually see more
stars in Sin City than almost anywhere else on Earth.
In fact, Las Vegas is so popular with the rich and famous that it is hard to find a place where celebrities don’t pop up from time to time. Of course, they do have their favourites and some bars, restaurants and night clubs are more popular among the stars than others. If you’re looking to do a little celeb spotting while spinning the slots in Vegas, we recommend that your start with the hotels (and their on-site clubs and restaurants) where the stars are most likely to stay.
Caesars Palace
What could be more “Vegas” than Caesars Palace? This famous Las Vegas landmark, situated between the Bellagio and The Mirage, is one of the most star-studded venues in the world.
Barrack Obama and his family stayed at the hotel on several occasions, whilst now-separated Latin power couple, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony renewed their wedding vows in the hotel’s Forum Tower Penthouse
The Colosseum theatre at Caesars is home to several high-profile celebrity shows, with residencies by Elton John, Céline Dion, and Rod Stewart, who also stay at the hotel. What’s more, these shows frequently attract celebrity spectators including the likes of Lady Gaga, Brandon Flowers, Jimmy Carr, and David Hasselhoff.
Caesars Palace also features several bars and restaurants frequented by celebrity clientele. The “new American fare” of Spago (the restaurant of Austrian celebrity chef, Wolfgang Puck) is a known celeb hangout, as is Japanese restaurant, Nobu, which is popular with Bradley Cooper, Jonah Hill, and Miles Teller, among others. Meanwhile, famous-for-being-famous B-Listers like Paris and Nicky Hilton and the Kardashians are regulars at Caesars’ Pure nightclub.
The Palms Casino Resort
If you’re looking for a bit of what-happens-in-Vegas-style celebrity antics, look no further than The Palms Casino Resort. Formerly the set of The Real World: Las Vegas reality show in 2002, The Palms continues to attract stars of all descriptions. The Real World and Hugh Hefner Suites are especially popular among Hollywood heavyweights.
Olympic swimmer, Michael Phelps is a regular, as are Usher, who calls the hotel his second home, and Jessica Simpson, who actually owns a condo at the Sky Villa at Palms Place. Music stars the likes of Kid Rock and Britney Spears often throw birthday bashes and after-parties at the venue, which boasts an enormous VIP section in its Rain nightclub, whilst its N9NE Steakhouse has hosted Barrack Obama and Hugh Hefner, among others.
Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino
Planet Hollywood Las Vegas certainly lives up to its name with a slew of beautiful people occupying its rooms and venues over the past few decades. Former Playmate, Holly Madison is currently a permanent resident at the hotel, where she stars in the venue’s wildly popular Peep Show and at which many scenes from her E! reality show, Holly’s World, were filmed.
At the moment, the venue’s biggest attraction is the Britney Spears: Piece of Me show at The Axis theatre, which ensures a constant supply of celebrity viewing as the starlet and her entourage are often spotted offstage.
