Playing Classic Blackjack Gold

The objective in Classic Blackjack Gold is to get a hand total of 21, or as near to this as possible without going any higher, and beating the dealer’s hand at the same time. The royal cards are all worth 10, the number cards are worth their face value and the aces can be worth 11 or 1 – you get to decide based on the value of your other card.

At the beginning of the round you will need to place your starting bet. The Dealer has to Stand on all totals of 17, and must also Hit on any hard or soft total of 16 or less. For any hard or soft total of 18 and above, the Dealer is required to Stand as well. Once you are both standing, all cards are revealed and the winner is determined.

You win if you and the Dealer both have hands under 21 but yours is higher; if the Dealer busts and goes over 21 while your total remains below this number and if you have Blackjack. This is the highest possible hand in this game, and having an ace as part of it is a prerequisite.
